MOA Signing
The Corpus Christi School Alumni Association and Corpus Christi High School officially launched the Dr. Alfonso Jr. and Mrs. Maria Corazon del Fierro Scholarship Program for incoming senior high school students (Grade 11) for the Academic Year 2024-2025. On the morning of June 28, 2024, the signing of the memorandum of agreement and a wreath-laying ceremony took place.
Alumni Association President Ilya Kristine R. Ravanera shared that the scholarship program is meant to honor the late Dr. Alfonso Jr. and Mrs. Maria Corazon del Fierro, who founded the school with a mission to provide quality education that is relevant to the Cagayan de Oro community.
The program aims to extend this gift of education to deserving students from underserved communities. Corpus Christi School Board President Gerard S. Quiaoit expressed gratitude to the alumni for remembering the couple's legacy and committed to supporting this endeavor.
A key point in the signed MOA is that for every student funded by the alumni, the school will match that by funding another student.
